There are many reasons why women (and men) lose eyebrows. The most common causes are over-plucking or waxing, ageing or illness. Once this has happened eyebrows have to be made up daily with constant retouches - in some cases 4 – 8 times. Hair-stroke eyebrows are not the only design we can offer you. Sometimes if just hair-strokes are applied, the effect can look stripey and rather artificial, particularly if the client has no natural eyebrow hairs. In this case, we can combine both hair-stroke and subtle shading to provide a more textured, natural look. Using more than one colour is another way of introducing texture into a newly created or enhanced eyebrow. For darker skin types, a powdered or solid eyebrow can look very effective. A full range of colours are available to ensure the best colour match and we can even create a unique eyebrow colour for our clients by skilfully blending pigments. Most crucial of all is eyebrow design, and we allow at least 45 minutes during the consultation process to get the most pleasing shape There is no such thing as a standard eyebrow. Faces vary enormously and it takes considerable training and experience to achieve the right shape to compliment, lift and enhance a client’s face. Another element of this treatment is careful colour choice. The client’s skin tone is always carefully assessed during the consultation process in order to help eliminate unwanted colour changes in the future. Eyebrow Colour Refresh/BoostIf a client has previously undergone eyebrow semi permanent makeup, the colour will need to be refreshed or corrected after 12 – 18 months as advised.
