EYES for the “windows to the soul” - natural eyelash enhancement or defining eyeliner“You were very welcoming and friendly and I felt very comfortable in your hands. Thank you so much, I am really pleased with the result and will have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and family”Lyn E, – Senior Beauty Lecturer, Essex The eyes can be one of the most troublesome areas on the face to make up every day. It is not always easy to create perfectly straight eyeliner, especially first thing in the morning! Even the most expensive, conventional make up still manages to melt as the day goes on and this problem is much worse in the summer when temperatures soar. There is a choice of techniques that can be used in the eye area. Eyelash Enhancement For those clients who do not always wish to have that natural ‘bare faced’ look, eyelash enhancement is perfect! It is used to create the illusion of darker and thicker eyelashes for a very subtle but noticeable result. Pigment is placed along the upper and lower lash lines appearing to merge into the lashes for maximum effect. Different colours such as blue and green can be used but most commonly black or dark brown are chosen. This treatment is very effective for blonde or grey haired clients who may have very fair eyelashes. (For these clients, it is recommended eyelashes are tinted at least 1 week prior to treatment). In the case of alopecia where there are no existing eyelashes, very fine hairstrokes can be placed along the lash line. Eyeliner Semi permanent eyeliner is used to really emphasise and define the eyes. Subtle changes or corrections to eye shape can also be achieved by tapering or altering the position and length of the line. This is where the consultation and experience is very important – to help determine the best shape and therefore achieve the best result. The photos below are from our “before and after” semi permanent makeup client portfolio and are not re-touched. We are proud of our work and believe the results speak for themselves. Please note the “after” photos were taken post procedure. Within a few days, the pigments will fade to a more natural effect.
