LIP TREATMENTS
LIPLINER, LIPLINER - BLENDED, LIPLINER WITH FULL LIP TINT, BARELY THERE - VOLUMISING for definition and volume

“I was really pleased with the results and the lipline looked brilliant……… sexily lined lips that are with me from morning to night ……”

AGENDA MAGAZINE – MARCH 2009 (Health & Beauty Section)

There are several choices of treatments available for the lips.

LIPLINER – (FINE LINE)

Where lips appear to be naturally thin or have lost colour and volume through the ageing process, re-defining or outlining the lips with semi permanent lipliner in a natural colour can make all the difference. This is the simplest and quickest lip procedure to carry out and can also help to prevent lipstick “bleed”.

Colour choice is important and it is generally better to go for a darker, natural tone to blend with the existing lip colour. Fashions do change over time and an obvious lipliner is not always the best look to wear. A touch of gloss is all that will be necessary on a daily basis to maintain this once the healing process is completed (up to 7 days)

Lips

Anyone who has lost definition of their lips can benefit from this procedure.

Various effects such as lipliner or full lip blush can be used to create symmetry and volume.

We can offer a choice of subtle neutral colours or a “veil” of more dramatic shades.

LIPLINER – THICK LINE OR BLENDED
Where a thicker or more blended line is preferred, this treatment is the one to have. Taking slightly longer than the lipliner, the effects can initially quite dramatic. However, after the first few days, the pigment will soften leaving a blended outline to the lips creating a fuller look.

As with the fine lipliner, the trend is to use pigments close to natural lip tones to achieve a noticeable but softer look.

LIPLINER WITH FULL LIP TINT
Blended lipliner with full lip tint in the most lengthy lip procedure and may take 3 sessions. This will be advised during the consultation process. The lips are made up of delicate tissue and it is better to carry out this procedure in stages.

Once the lipliner has been completed, another layer of pigment is blended into the lips.
Pigment retention is more of a problem in this area of the mouth as we are essentially working on a continually moist surface. For this reason, a full lipstick colour is never promised but more of a lip tint or “veil” of colour.

However, one of the benefits noticed by many clients, particularly more mature women who have lost volume over the years, is a slight plumping of the lips. It has been shown that micro-pigmentation on the lips can encourage the production of collagen following the healing or settling phase.

BARELY THERE – VOLUMISING – NO LIPLINE
For the ultimate, ‘barely there’ but volumising effect, choose this!

Particularly suitable for those with perfectly shaped and defined lips but would like to have a slighter plumper shape in a darker tone.
