Medical Micropigmentation
Medical Micropigmentation is a treatment where pigments are implanted in the skin to disguise scar tissue, pigment and hair loss.
Examples of these treatments would be
- to disguise scars by colour matching and implanting pigment
to blend with surrounding skin. This may be helpful for burns
or trauma patients.
- Vitiligo, including vitiligo of the lip. Cleft lip tattooing to
restore and balance the lips following surgery.
- Alopecia. To re-create the illusion of eyelashes and eyebrows.
For moustache and beard hair loss.
Medical Micropigmentation is also a treatment for patients who have undergone breast surgery and require the arealar/nipple complex to be restored. A 3d areola and nipple are created after carefully colour matching.
As some of the paramedical treatments are intensely personal, Jeni is able to offer her patients privacy by holding clinic sessions in a registered premises close to Addenbrooke’s Hospital
